·         An enlightening panel discussion about ‘Digital Transformation: Challenges and Opportunities in Oman’.
·         Networking with UTAS faculty members and other participants.

Wednesday, 15th May

 

·         Opening remarks by ICIESTR 2024 Conference Chief Executive.
·         Insightful keynote speeches about ‘Distributed Computing for AI’ & ‘Renewable Energy Integration: Challenges and Solutions’ & ‘Sustainable Municipal Wastewater Treatment for Micro-pollution Control Towards Safe Water Reuse’
·         Workshop: The Evolution from Oral Traditions to Cyber Societies.
·         Connecting & Networking with other authors.
·         Paper Presentation.
·         Awarding Ceremony & Closing Remarks.
·         Group Photo Session.

Challenges

-          Navigating airports can be complex, since it is the first time to travel abroad, and in Transit.

-          Finding suitable and safe accommodation near the conference venue.

-          Local transportation.

-          Coordinating travel times, conference schedules, and personal time.

-          Nervousness about presenting to an audience that may include experienced academics and professionals, was overcome by excellent preparation.

Conclusion

Attending the ICIESTR 2024 conference, scheduled for Tuesday, 14th May, and Wednesday, 15th May, presents a significant opportunity for professional and personal growth. The event begins with registration and a reception, followed by opening remarks and keynote speeches on pivotal topics that provide further insights and informative advancements. In addition, my participation witnessed networking opportunities with UTAS faculty and other participants, enriching my experience.

The second day features opening remarks by the Conference Chief Executive, followed by keynote speeches on cutting-edge subjects, along with our paper presentation, an awarding ceremony, closing remarks, and a group photo session, rounds out the day.

Overall, despite the challenges, the benefits of attending and presenting at the ICIESTR 2024 conference are substantial, offering both professional development and a richer understanding of the host culture.
