The Mechanical Engineering club recently organized a 3-day workshop focused on designing sheet metal models using SolidWorks, in collaboration with FabLab Mostaqbli. The workshop, totalling 9 hours, provided essential training that significantly enhanced the students' skills as mechanical engineers. Participants had the opportunity to explore into the fundamentals of metal sheet design, learn advanced techniques for creating intricate models, and discover best practices for optimizing designs. The skills learned during this workshop will undoubtedly benefit students in their future projects, including their graduation projects, while also contributing to the overall quality of their work and the growth of their organizations.
